High-quality development facility for biomaterials research and cell culturing

Smart BioMaterials Consortium (SBMC) offers shared laboratory space and expertise in the field of biomaterials, cell-culturing (ML-II) and cell-materials interaction. Within this facility companies and organisations work for an agreed fee with their own staff or collaborate with experienced SBMC staff on the development of biomaterials and regenerative therapies.

The development facility offers access to costly lab equipment like a confocal microscope (Leica Stelaris 5), epifluorescence microscope (Leica Thunder), multimode imaging plate reader, cell culturing lab equipment, FACS, rheometer, tensile tester, electrospinner and SEM (with EDX). Flexibility and professional support characterize the SBMC facilities.
